What We Do
Here at Charis Foundation, we see the value in everyone. We aim to be a catalyst for positive change just like Christ, and since our beginnings in 2007, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: love, mercy and grace. We achieve this in four ways:
Hospital Visits: We visit patients who, in some cases, may be bed-ridden, without family and/or unable to support themselves financially. We spend some time with them, donate food/provisions and help pay off their hospital fees.
Food & Provision Drop-Off to Poor Children: Children are a gift from God, they are our future. We visit children who may be neglected or poor. We keep them company and distribute food and provisions to better their standard of living.
Police Detention Visits: Detention cells are police sites that hold pending accused offenders who are awaiting trial. Usually, inmates are neglected and left unattended in brutal conditions. We visit these sites and provide food and provisions, as well as evangelism to uplift their spirits.
Poor Residents & Homeless Outreach: We reach out to those who have no place to call home or live in horrendous places that should not be called home either, those who had homes destroyed by flood or fire. We supply them with food, clothes and provisions to aid them get back on their feet.
We also accept requests of those in the community who need specific support to achieve urgent/necessary goals that may be life threatening in few cases. View Requests.
