1 Corinthians 13: 1-3, 13
Love is the greatest! A person is nothing without love, for God is love. A definite way to extend your love is by helping others, as an act of kindness. Generosity is the best spiritual investment and it makes up for sins. Generosity does not simply mean giving money to the poor, but also giving other things that may be tangible or intangible, such as your time/company, clothes, etc. Whatever you give, whether big or small, does not matter. What matters the most are your intentions...your heart. When you give, you're conscious of the future since God who is the rewarder, will surely sustain you.
Love cannot afford to look the other way, especially seeing that a neighbor is in need. The act of giving builds us up and makes the world a better place. Remember that God gives us all something to share with others and expects us to do so. Therefore, choose to be Christ-like today by loving others and giving to them, especially those who are in need.
